Kirsten Kurt-Elli,
Labour Councillor for
Northfield
Like most people in a marginal seat like Northfield, I don’t come from a party-political family. My mom’s a floating voter, my dad’s a“won’t say”. But I do come from a family that instilled the importance of serving your community. Doing right by your neighbour is in my bones. That includes listening to what they have to say, being there when they need a helping hand and someone whose word they can trust.

They’re not just my family’s values, they’re Labour’s values too. When I ask people on the high street, at the Great Stone pub or on the doorstep - that’s what they want from their political representatives. Yet our new Conservative MP has failed them at every count. Unlike, the opposition, I can look constituents in the eye and keep my promise to do right by them and the area.

I'm honoured to be Northfield's Councillor so I can fight Northfield’s corner in the Council Chamber and be there for the entire community here in Northfield.
